Sibling registration begins on Nov. 24, 2025, and ends Jan. 5, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. (noon). To register this way, families must bring the following to Ada Vista or Meadow Brook Elementary:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fhps.net\/documents\/kindergarten-language-immersion-intent-to-enroll-form.pdf\/\"><strong>Completed Language Immersion Kindergarten Program Intent to Enroll Form<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Copy of the student&#8217;s birth certificate<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>All forms must be submitted in person.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the pre-enrollment form is not submitted by the deadline, late submissions will be added to the in-district lottery.<\/p>\n<h3>2) In-District Lottery<\/h3>\n<p>New student lottery submission begins January 5, 2026, and ends on <strong>February 6, 2026<\/strong>. Interested FHPS resident families must bring the following information to Ada Vista or Meadow Brook Elementary:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fhps.net\/documents\/kindergarten-language-immersion-intent-to-enroll-form.pdf\/\"><strong>Completed Language Immersion Kindergarten Program Intent to Enroll Form<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Copy of the student&#8217;s birth certificate<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>All forms must be submitted in person.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The computer-generated, random lottery will be conducted at the FHPS administration office on February 9, 2026. Acceptance and waitlist informational letters will be sent to families on February 13, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the pre-enrollment form is not submitted by <strong>the deadline<\/strong>, late submissions will be added to the end of the waiting list.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>In-District Lottery Process<\/h3>\n<p>Once the lottery has taken place, a letter will be sent out to all applicants to notify them of their acceptance or placement on the waitlist.<\/p>\n<p>Those who receive notification that they are on the waitlist will be informed in the letter of their place on the waitlist. In order to remain on the waitlist, the student must remain a resident in the FHPS attendance area.<\/p>\n<p>If on the waitlists for both programs, students may remain there until they receive an invitation to join either program.\u00a0 Once a student has accepted an invitation to join one of the two programs, they will be immediately and permanently removed from the other program\u2019s waitlist.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the school year, families who are left on the kindergarten waitlist will be asked if they wish to be considered for the first-grade waitlist.\u00a0 They will be added to the first-grade waitlist in the same relative order in which they were on the kindergarten waitlist.\u00a0 The waitlist will be dissolved at the culmination of the first semester of first grade.<\/p>\n<p>FHPS\u00a0resident students who are able to pass a target language performance\/proficiency assessment may remain on a waiting list past the end of the first semester of first grade.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Frequently Asked Questions and Concerns<\/h3>\n<p>Have a few questions before enrolling your student?
