What is Parent Portal?<\/h2>\n

Parent\/guardians can access PowerSchool, our computerized student records database, through the\u00a0Parent Portal. For our kindergarten through sixth-grade families, Parent Portal allows you to view contact information, important\u00a0school information, and school news bulletins.<\/p>\n

Parent Portal also is a link to our communication system called SchoolMessenger<\/a>.\u00a0Additional information about SchoolMessenger is enclosed, but first you need to become familiar with Parent Portal, and make sure\u00a0you are set up, and have logged in to your account.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re new to Parent Portal, please read the instructions below for setting up your account. If you already have an account for a\u00a0student and have a new student attending school, all you need to do is \u201cAdd\u201d a student to your account, by logging into the system,\u00a0and starting at step 4 below.<\/p>\n

Login Instructions to Parent Portal<\/h2>\n

To access Parent Portal and set up your account, please do the following:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Make sure you have your unique login information that you should have received in the mail.<\/li>\n
  2. Login to Powerschool Parent Portal<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Select \u201cCreate Account\u201d at bottom of the page.<\/li>\n
  4. Enter the following information in the \u201cCreate Parent Account\u201d section\n
      \n
    1. First name<\/li>\n
    2. Last name<\/li>\n
    3. Unique email account (or your personal email account)<\/li>\n
    4. Unique username<\/li>\n
    5. Password<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    6. Enter the following information in the \u201cLink Students to Account\u201d section.\n
        \n
      1. Student name<\/li>\n
      2. Access ID (found in the account access letter mailed to you)<\/li>\n
      3. Access Password(found in the account access letter mailed to you)<\/li>\n
      4. Your relationship to the child (mother, father, guardian, etc.)<\/li>\n
      5. Press Enter<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Once your account is successfully created, you will be able to log in to the \u201cParent Sign In\u201d screen using your new username and\u00a0password.<\/p>\n
